Who is Learning Support Services?

Learning Support Services (LSS) is part of the School of International Letters and Cultures (SILC)

We provide spaces, technology resources, and support for students and faculty in all language, literature, and culture courses taught by SILC. 

Where are we located?

Durham Hall (DH) on the Tempe campus, rooms 132-142.

What can we do for you?

If you're currently enrolled in a course within SILC, you're entitled to use our computer classrooms, get instructional technology help from our student and professional staff members, check out audio, video and other equipment through your instructor, use software that's only available in SILC LSS computer classrooms, and print to the SILC LSS printer.

Note: SILC LSS printing is not part of the ASU "Print Anywhere" system. 

As a student enrolled in an undergraduate SILC course, you receive $5.00 of print quota. If you're in a graduate course, you receive $15.00 of print quota. Two undergraduate courses? That's $10.00 of quota ($5.00 + $5.00). Each single-sided page printed at SILC Learning Support Services costs 10¢ (16¢ per double-sided page), so you can print from 50 to over 60 pages for each undergraduate class. Need to print more? You can purchase more quota at the LSS Information desk (DH 132) in $2.00, $5.00, and $10.00 increments. The purchased quota that you don't use by the end of the semester is refundable. Ask at the Information Desk for more details.

When are we open?

Fall 2023:

Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m.–8:00 pm
Friday: 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday:  Closed, except for reservations and special events.
