Give to the School of International Letters and Cultures

Funds you can choose from on Sun Devil Giving Day

Sun Devil Giving Day

Sun Devil Giving Day encourages the ASU community to give to the university's programs and causes in order to foster a culture of giving among the ASU community. By participating, donors have the opportunity to support some of ASU's most important causes including advancing student access, creating equity in higher education, conducting research for the public good, serving our community and protecting the planet.

By choosing to give to a fund offered by the School of International Letters and Cultures, you will help students who are passionate about languages and cultures — just like you! — achieve success. These funds help ease the financial burden so students can focus on their language and culture studies to set themselves up for success in their post-grad lives.

Choose from a number of language and cultural studies that you are passionate about whether it is the language you love and majored in, or whether you hope to grow interest in your own heritage.

Why give?

By choosing to support the School of International Letters and Cultures, you are supporting studies in the languages and cultures you are passionate about. With our school, you also have the opportunity to support and grow interest in your heritage through one of our current funds or by creating a new fund.

Together, our potential is limitless

When you invest in the School of International Letters and Cultures, you help support our goal to educate students to become multilingual and globally informed citizens of today’s complex world. In addition, philanthropy provides an extra measure of support for our faculty, research initiatives and community programs that could otherwise not be reached. Together, we can impact the lives of many.

As a fully self-funded student, receiving a scholarship was life changing. I took the extra time that I had from not working at my coffee shop job to fully focus on my classwork and apply to several fellowships. I was selected for a Fulbright English teaching fellowship to Armenia and for a Pickering Fellowship, which fully funded my graduate school tuition.

Durham Hall naming opportunity

For your consideration

We have naming opportunities associated with the renovation of the building that houses the school, Durham Hall. Named rooms would feature a plaque with your name, memorializing your generosity and providing inspiration to others (see the publication below).

Please contact Mike Tueller if you are considering a donation.
